To take ownership of generating new leads for the business, maximising on the potential from each call with an excellent telephone manner, with the aim of booking appointments for our field-based sales consultants.
Responsible for making outbound calls daily
Build an extensive knowledge and pipeline of prospective customers to maximise our opportunities for growth
Proactively use online research, supplied lists or leads from within the business to develop the pipeline
The booking of appointments with decision makers/influencers within the customers organisation for our highly skilled field-based sales teams to attend
To work closely with the Sales teams to ensure leads are generated within our core business sectors
To inform potential customers of the business’s products and services
To be proactive in identifying opportunities for new business
To ensure our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is updated to reflect all correspondence and information is maintained
To deal with customers in a professional manner at all times aligned to our brand values
To achieve agreed personal and departmental targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Apply a consistent review and improve methodology to day to day sales activity and performance
Knowledge and Skills:
Must be self-motivated and demonstrate the desire and determination to succeed.
Have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Must possess strong organisation skills.
Have a strong telephone manner.
Requires good communications skills and ability to liaise at all levels, with internal and external customers.
2 years proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales role.
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas, preferably over the phone.
