Game, set and match! Delivering yet another successful service at Wimbledon

For the fifth year running, Elis’ Merton site has supplied linen and laundry services for hospitality areas to Compass Group UK & Ireland, official caterers of The Championships, Wimbledon 2024. Around 155,000 bespoke linen items were delivered, and a dedicated, fully trained and experienced production team of six were on hand for the duration of the Championships plus the Key Accounts Team on site, ensuring that operations ran smoothly. A dedicated Service Manager was also on hand throughout to ensure that any last-minute changes to requirements could be accommodated with ease.

Also playing a crucial role in proceedings were highly skilled members of our transport team. Drivers were responsible for delivering and collecting to tight schedules and negotiating routes to several different locations across Wimbledon’s site. All orders were delivered on time and in full, resulting in exceptional feedback from the customer regarding all aspects of our service. We are extremely proud to have been involved in this prestigious event once again, and would like to thank all team members involved for their commitment and dedication in making this another successful year.
